Welcome to Room 28!

Dear Parents/Caregivers,

        I would like to welcome you and your children to my classroom. This week the class will working on:

Reading:  Book 1 – your child is bringing home his or her word bank.  This word bank has his or her new reading words.  Please work with your child on these words every evening.  They do not have to spell them, just read them to you.  The word bank should come to school each day.

Math:  Counting by ones to 50.  Basic addition.

Writing:  Writing sentences, using inventive spelling.

Social Studies:  Topics-Going to school, School Rules and School workers.

Science:  Solids and Liquids
