Monday – Reading – Write a word from the box to complete each sentence.

Tuesday – Reading – Read each group of sentences.  Write 1, 2, 3, or 4 in front of each sentence to tell the order in which the events happen.

Wednesday – Math -  Students play Make 10 with a family member, then write about what happened.

Thursday – Math – Count out loud to a family member, from 1 to 100 by ones.  Next, write the numbers from 1 to 100.

Upcoming events:

On Friday, February 6th, room 28 will celebrate the 100th day of school.  Special activities have been planned for this day.  Your child does not have to bring in anything special for this day.

On Friday, February 14th, room 28 will celebrate Valentines’ Day.  The children have made valentine mailbags.  He or she may bring in valentines for their classmates.  I will send home a special valentine student class list in a few days.

Tuesday- Math- Students describe the resulting data to a survey question.  On the back Write the missing numbers on the counting strips.

Wednesday-Math – Students read a chart and describe the data in the chart.

Thursday-Reading and writing-Students pick 5 words from their word book and write a sentence using each word.

Monday-Math-Adding and Subtraction reading problem on back.

Tuesday-Reading and Writing-Read the story and write three details that tell about the dog in the story.

Wednesday-Math-Add, then use the color code, and mystery word will appear.

Thursday-Reading and Writing-Read the story about the plant then write three details about the plant.

Homework every night:  Practice memorizing the reading words in black marble word books.

Monday-Math-Solve the reading problem.  Show your work.  (Combinations of

Thursday-Draw a tree and show what the color of the leaves are changing to.
